Psychokinetic is the tragic tale of a man losing all control to the whims of another. He loses all rational control when he meets someone who treats his attempts at maintaining mental focus with utter disdain, defying him at every turn. This fixation, even as it destabilizes his entire being, proves his undoing. The music is a complete departure from the album’s opening tune, a genre-bending piece intertwining heavy rock elements, shredding guitar riffs, and visceral lead vocals with an electronic cacophony of synths and backing vocoder harmonies. This one is a true Vox Humanic and BandXUSA collaboration. Let’s call this the Detlas style.
