About Detlas - About Tag Line Here

<p>Detlas is an electronic band formed as a collaboration between the electronic artists Vox Humanic (Brian Grant) and  BandXUSA (Asif Chowdhury), based in Detroit, MI, and Dallas, TX, respectively. We explore a wide range of styles inspired by, and hoping to earn the appreciation of, music enthusiasts across all genres. Because our expertise is in electronica, our core sound gravitates towards those subgenres. However, we wanted to experiment with experimental approaches involving choral sounds and orchestral flourishes, and appreciate all styles, letting those styles influence what we give back to you. Our first initial project, <em>Authentic Intelligence,</em> is the realization of those influences. It is also an acknowledgment that there is a lot of music out there generated by the so-called "Artificial Intelligence (AI)" applications out there.</p> <p>All the works on this album were created with our own talents, directly manipulating our digital tools. No artificial intelligence was used except for it being embedded in the mastering software we employed, and even then, we had the final say on how it sounds. Hence the tag-line: "No A.I.s were harmed in the creation and composition of this album (though we did let one sit on mastering sessions)". We hope you like the eclectic nature of the album and look forward to making more.</p>
